Yellow Day at Hillbrook 2023
Rhys Slater was a member of our Hillbrook Early Learning community when his family received the devastating news that he had leukaemia. Tragically, he lost his battle in 1994, aged 5 years old. The impact was felt throughout our community so Yellow Day was created to remember Rhys, as well as raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Today, more than 50 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 50 families will be devastated by the same news.
The money raised will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will fund the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
