Phoenix Theatre Company’s Calendar Girls

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news.

Calendar Girls is based on the true story of a group of women who raised funds for Leukaemia research after one of them lost their husband to blood cancer, by posing for a calendar.

We have created this page in honour of this story, to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease.

The money raised will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.

Please show your support by donating to our fundraising campaign.

Every little bit helps. My sister has multiple myeloma, and has been fortunate enough since diagnosis over 10 years ago, to be accepted into clinical trials which without doubt have helped extend her life, and without the many generous donations made, would not have been possible.
