Stage 8 - Manly Wharf to Manly Beach (via North Head)

Today we finished our walk from Coogee to Manley. Today we walked from Manly Wharf to Manly Beach. The views from North Head are spectacular. So far we have walked around 100 km over the 8 stages, and raised a little of $1900. Big thank you to everyone that has donated. You are the best. xx

Stage 7 - The Spit to Manly Wharf

Today we walked from The Spit to Manly Wharf. This part of the walk was almost completely through Sydney Harbour National Park on the Spit to Manly Scenic Walking Trail. A little over 12kms. So far we have walked over 75km's over the 7 stages.

Stage 6 - Taronga Zoo to The Spit

Stage 6 of the walk from Coogee to Manly. Today we walked from Taronga Zoo to The Spit. This part of the walk took in some incredible trails dotted throughout Sydney Harbour National Park. We walked along the edge of the harbour to Bradleys Head, Clifton Gardens, Georges Head, Middle Head with a stop at Balmoral for lunch, then onto our finishing point for the day at The Spit. We have now walked over 60km's and are 3/4 of the way to our goal.

Stage 5 - Harbour Bridge to Taronga Zoo

Stage 5 of the walk from Coogee to Manly. Today we walked from the Harbour Bridge to Taronga Zoo. Easily the best section of the walk so far....and also the longest at a little under 16km's.

Stage 4 - Double Bay to the Harbour Bridge

HALFWAY. Today we walked from Double Bay to the Harbour Bridge (which as it happens is 90 years old today), 11.5 kms today.

Stage 3 - Watsons Bay to Double Bay

Stage 3 of the walk from Coogee to Manly. Today we took advantage of the break in the weather and walked from Watsons Bay to Double Bay around 12.5kms. The Hermitage Walk along the harbour at Vaucluse is absolutely stunning.

Stage 2 - Bondi to Watsons Bay

Stage 2 of the walk from Coogee to Manly. Today we walked from Bondi Beach to Watsons Bay. 12.5kms, mostly sunny. We are now a quarter through our walk. Amazingly we have raised $1200.

Stage 1 - Coogee to Bondi

Sunday 16th January. 6kms Coogee to Bondi.

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Today, more than 50 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer, and tomorrow - another 50 families will be devastated by the same news.

Gregg and Darren have set a goal to walk from Coogee to Manly over the next few months. This is a total of 86km and we thought it would be a great opportunity to fundraise. A suggestion is for a donation of $1 for every km we complete although any donation is welcome. Our walk will be divided over a number of days over the coming months, and we will be uploading our progress along the way to mark the completed stages.

This page has been created to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease.

The money raised will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.

Please show me your support by donating to my fundraising campaign.
