I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
At the age of 9 Connor sadly learnt the pain of losing his dear mate Blake to Leukaemia. Now aged 11 Connor continues to work through his his grief by fighting to find a cure so one day no one else has to feel the pain of losing a friend or loved one to Leukaemia.
In memory of his good friend Blake, Connor will be hosting a charity touch football match at the place they become friends, Lakelands Public School.
Along with his love for drawing, riding his bike he absolutely loved his football. I remember him telling me I can’t wait to get back to play with his mate at Dapto Canaries
So this being the reason behind his idea to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation and to continue to remember his amazing friend.
