I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
Operation Survive goes back almost 6years to the day my brother was diagnosed with Lymphoma - a rare composite lymphoma. At only 24years, fot and healthy otherwise and no family history this was a shock to say the least. The diagnosis came 1 week after my uncle passed away. Our mother was in the UK for the funeral, our father in NSW.
12months of treatment, a failed chemo block, surgery, chemo again amd stem cell transplant. My brother has now passed the 5years in remission mark last month!
Others are not so lucky. My friend lost his father and brother in the same year to blood cancer.
The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
Please show me your support by donating to my fundraising campaign.
I am doing the Cairns 70.3 on 6th June 2021. This means 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride, 21.1km run.
Let's survive together and help others be as lucky as my brother has been. Better yet, let's F@#k off blood cancers for good.
Please donate to this great foundation who was our only light at times.
