I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
Hello All
Patric and myself (Hugo) will be completing a blindfolded marathon in an attempt to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. This cause is close to our team's hearts and one that matters. That's why we're going to try so hard to do this right. We don't just want to finish, we want to finish in a time fast enough to set a Guiness World Record for fastest blindfolded marathon.
Patric will be able to see and be guiding me through the whole course. Just because Patric can see doesn't make his run any easier, in fact its probably going to be harder. He's going to have to set pace, instruct me for 42km and make sure I don't fall. On the other hand I'll just run by his instructions.
This is a very important cause and we want to do our bit. Leukaemia affects too many people and any funding we can raise to either help with research or develop facilities to assist with treatment or anything else the money we raise may do is our ultimate goal.
So please, donate to support a great cause and enjoy the entertainment of watching two people learn how hard a marathon is, and then how hard running one blindfolded will be.
Thanks
