I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
I am fundraising to help the 47 Australians who will know that they have blood cancer by the end of today — and for the 47 families who will face the same devastating news tomorrow.
This cause is something that is close to my heart and I’m sure most of you reading this would share a connection if not to the to the people I’m supporting but share compassion for the cause, Darcy Greenwell and Dash Leather! Two beautiful young boys 3 and 4 years old. Both Families are living with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (A.L.L)
I’m currently running a soft drink drive at my work site and organising Raffles during the 4 months we are on this site, in Moura QLD we are working at Dawson Mine doing a Shutdown.
Darcy Greenwell is my Nephew, they live in Maryborough QLD the family of 4 own a Foodworks in town. Darcy is a year into his treatments and is home now with the family back together but for the first 6/8montns Mum and Darcy had to live in brisbane away from Dad and Big Sister, Dad had to stay home to run the business.
Dash Leather is a cool little dude, his father Shaun Leather was a supervisor for my company G&S Engineering for a long time before leaving to work at home and be with his son, since Dash was diagnosed this year he has had to stop working all together for Dash’s treatments.
Most of those fundraising will be done locally in Moura although I have created this page to raise vital funds, all will help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease.

The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
