Rose’s Match is back for its 7th year!
What started as a heartfelt tribute to Rose, has grown into a powerful annual showdown between East Launceston and Longford Bowls Clubs — bringing community, competition and compassion together on the green.
Over the past six years, this event has raised more than $15,000 to support families facing blood cancer and to fund vital research, ensuring Rose’s legacy lives on in a truly meaningful way. Each year the crowd grows, the rivalry strengthens, and the impact deepens.
This year promises another fantastic day, with live music, a classic sausage sizzle, exciting raffles and plenty of community spirit. It’s more than just a bowls match — it’s a celebration of life, legacy and the power of coming together to make a difference.
