On Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, the iconic Beach2Beach Charity Fun Run and Festival will celebrate its 31st year of raising much-needed funds for worthy local charities on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

The Canberra Times Fun Run is back on 1 November 2026 - bringing determination, adrenaline, and inspiration to the streets of our capital. Take on a fast, flat course past Canberra's iconic landmarks in your choice of four distances: the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K or the Kids Dash. With pacers to guide you, it’s the perfect chance to hit a PB or complete your first race.

Our newest event on the fun run calendar is the Frankston Running Festival. This will be an out and back course with the start/finish line at Frankston Waterfront (Frankston Pier) to Keast Park Seaford on Sunday 15 November 2026.

This year sees the 31st running of the Point to Pinnacle with 3200 people taking on the mountain, up to 2000 racing to the Pub, and hopefully, more record fundraising totals.

The Ocean Grove Running Festival is set to make its debut in 2026, bringing an exciting new running event to Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula. Starting and finishing at the Ocean Grove Hotel on Sunday, 22 November 2026, the festival will offer runners a fun, welcoming and professionally organised race-day experience.

Kunanyi Mountain Run is a 3-day trail running festival that celebrates the famous mountain on Hobart’s doorstep. It’s rich in culture, history and incredibly diverse landscapes. It’s been called “trail running heaven” countless times! The Palawa (Tasmanian Aboriginal community) generously welcome and share Kunanyi with trail runners – whether you’re a seasonal ultra runner or new to running on trails.

The Hobart Marathon Festival is set along the spectacular Constitution Dock, Derwent River and Salamanca Wharves, runners and fans will be beguiled by the charming, contrasting blend of heritage, scenery and culture nestled amongst world- class attractions throughout the 2 lap course.

The Canberra Times Marathon Festival takes place over two action-packed days on Saturday, 10 April and Sunday, 11 April 2027. Saturday features the Runner's World 10K, Charterpoint 5K, and Kids Dash, creating a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. On Sunday, the spotlight turns to the festival's premier events – the Marathon (42.2K) and Half Marathon (21.1K) – with runners taking on Canberra's iconic closed roads. More than 12,000 participants are expected to take part across the weekend. Runners and supporters can also explore the 3-day Festival Expo from 9–11 April, featuring the latest running gear, giveaways, and inspiration from leading brands. Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on your first event, or soaking up the festival atmosphere, the Canberra Times Marathon Festival offers an unforgettable running experience in the nation's capital.

Ballarat has a rich sporting and cultural history. The BALLARAT MARATHON celebrates this. Held annually in late April, the Ballarat Marathon is a two-day running festival, open to both elite and recreational athletes. Our event showcases one of regional Australia’s most beautiful and historic cities and promotes health and wellbeing across the community.

The HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon is a truly unique city running experience through the beating heart of Sydney CBD. None of the big city hustle and bustle, just wide-open city streets, stunning views and the buzz of Australia’s biggest half-marathon all around you.

The Mornington Running Festival returns to Mornington Peninsula for the 12th time on the 2nd May, 2027 weekend. Set in what is one of Australia's most stunning courses to run, winding along the esplanade from Mornington to Mt Martha and back. This unique experience to run or walk along this road free from traffic is unmissable. The weekend features a variety of running & walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels.

Escape to world famous Noosa for Runaway Noosa Marathon and a weekend filled with sunshine and good times. With a flat, fast and friendly multi-lap course set in the heart of Noosa township and multi distances to choose from, it’s easy to find your happy running place right here.

The newest running event on the Mornington Peninsula is the Rosebud Running Festival and will take place again on Sunday 6 June 2027. The course will cover sections along the foreshore trails (Bay trail) with runners being able to enjoy running through some stunning landscapes with Port Phillip Bay as the backdrop.

This scenic coastal event will feature an out-and-back course with the start and finish line located in Barwon Heads, taking runners along Thirteenth Beach Road on Sunday, 20 June 2027. Participants will enjoy a stunning seaside backdrop, fresh coastal air, and a safe, well-supported race environment.
