In memory of Cheryl 💙

It has been 10 years since I lost my friend Cheryl to blood cancer. Cheryl had CML/ALL and was well supported by the leukemia foundation throughout her battle with the disease. Prior to her passing and also for a few years following we participated in the Light the Night charity walk. I wanted to jump back in to it this year for the anniversary but unfortunately the fundraiser is no longer running! Therefore I have decided to create my own one for November where I will be doing a different trek/hike each weekend for the month and hope to raise a minimum of $200 ($50/wk). I’m hoping the money raised in memory of Cheryl will go towards helping another person & their family going through the unthinkable. This is something I know Cheryl would be happy I am continuing to support and will be my driving force to completing this challenge 💙 

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news.

I have created this page to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease. 

The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
