It's time to put the kettle on!
Earlier this year, we lost our beautiful mum to leukaemia after a long and incredibly courageous battle. She faced her diagnosis with strength and grace, and throughout her journey, the Leukaemia Foundation provided incredible support to her — and to us as a family.
For the past few years, Mum hosted a fundraising morning tea to give back and raise money for the cause that meant so much to her. This year, we are honouring her memory by continuing that tradition and hosting our own morning tea in her name.
Today, more than 53 Australians will be told they have blood cancer. Tomorrow, another 53 families will face the same devastating news. We want to do something to help change that.
This fundraising page has been created to raise vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation — to help provide the care and support that families need right now, and to help fund life-changing research into better treatments and ultimately, a cure.
The money we raise will honour Mum’s legacy and continue the fight she cared so deeply about. It will help back the brightest researchers and ensure other families don’t face this battle alone.
