Lincoln and Rowland - Service Learning Walk
Lincoln and Rowland House students, in conjunction with The Bloody Mission, will participate in a Walk4Health event. Under the guidance of their tutors, students will walk along the Parramatta River on a journey of discovery about mental health and the power of grit. They will complete a predetermined 11-kilometre route.
As part of this fundraiser, we are encouraging students to be sponsored a minimum of $10 to complete the Walk4Health. All funds raised will go directly to support the Leukaemia Foundation.
Today, more than 53 Australians will be told they have blood cancer, and tomorrow another 53 families will face the same devastating news. To help make a difference, I have created a fundraising page to raise vital funds that will provide the care families need during a blood cancer diagnosis and support game-changing research into this disease.
The money raised will help deliver immediate care for those in need and empower the brightest researchers to uncover faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
