I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
On the 29th of May 2024, Timothy Davison was transferred from a mine site in the Pilbara to Royal Perth hospital via RFDS with a persistent blood nose and bleeding from the gums. This was the start of arguably the hardest battle anyone would have to face.
The diagnosis was acute T cell lymphoblastic leukaemia. If that wasnt hard enough he also had to face adverse reactions and side effects from his ongoing treatment. Such as a Stoke, Blood Clots in the Brain, seizures, Paralysed down right side, learning how to walk again, Heart and Kidney damage, Stem Cell Transplant, GVHD of the Skin, multiple infections, Pneumonia, stomach issues, GVHD of the Gut and Liver Failure. These are only just a few of what he encountered during his 11 month journey.
Unfortunately, on the 27th of April 2025, the world lost a legend. A Father, a devoted Partner, Son, Grandson, Brother and Friend.
We are hosting a golf day in Tim's name to help raise awareness and try to raise much needed funds to help the Leukaemia Foundation continue their mission to take the pressure off of those affected by the horrible disease or better yet, a cure!
On the 10th October we will be hosting 24 competitors at the Pinjarra Golf Club for a day of fun on the green, followed by lunch, refreshments and prizes. We would love to see you there and look forward to hosting this event every year going forward.
