Hairdresser Shout Out ....

How lucky are we to have the lovely Bec at MQ! Please make sure you send your friends and family to her salon. Thanks to HOC support, I received written approval on the weekend to shave my head during happy hour this Sunday 30th March. Then I had to work out how!  I popped in to see Bec asking if I could come back between clients to pick her brain.  She and the lovely lady in the chair invited me to chat.  I explained my 'thought bubble' and Bec immediately insisted she would like to do it and could bring the cape and gear needed.  She starts work 6pm Sunday night, so would bring the kids, shave my head on stage at 4.30pm then drop them at her Mum's and hurry to work.  What a legend! If we have anyone else in the Community with the gear willing to step in if Bec can't make it, I would love to hear from you. Lyn Sanchez has offered but does have existing plans so another back up just in case would be great - Jacinta Villa 238 0467712000.  With all this support, looks like this thought bubble is really happening! 

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news.

I have created this page to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease. 

The money we raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
