Raising funds through art
On Thursday 11th July 2024, my beautiful sister-in-law received some life altering news. Naomi has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, which is an aggressive form of blood cancer. This is a huge shock, as she is so young and has no family history of this debilitating illness.
As she currently navigates treatment, we can't help but feel so incredibly grateful for the medical teams and the research that has been done in order for her to have access to such amazing medicines.
Without donations and fundraising efforts, so much of this would not be possible.
This year, for every 2025 Katherine Hunter Art calendar sold, I will be donating $1. It isn't much, but it's a way to help another family who may be facing a similar situation to Naomi's, to ensure they also have access to life saving treatment.
For those wondering - Naomi is doing well. She's currently waiting for a stem cell match and taking a little break from chemo sessions in order to spend the school holidays with her little fam ❤️
