For over 10 years my family and I have decorated our house with Christmas lights simply to spread some holiday cheer. This year we are proudly raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Today, more than 50 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 50 families will be devastated by the same news. A total of more than 19,000 blood cancer diagnosis every year. These statistics have become a reality for us when a loved one was diagnosed with Leukaemia on May 2022. They have undergone months of hospital stay, intense chemotherapies, blood transfusions, bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures and a bone marrow transplant.
I have created this page to raise vital funds for research into this disease and better treatments to save lives- and hopefully one day, a cure.
Please come and visit our Christmas lights display and donate to my fundraising campaign. We are located at 16 Stacy Street Gowrie, 2904. Our display will be open every year between the 1st of December until 1st of January 2023 from 8pm- midnight. Any donation amount, no matter how small, will be very appreciated.
