I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
Today, more than 53 Australians will hear the words, "You have blood cancer." Tomorrow, another 53 families will receive the same life-changing news.
Blood cancer has touched the lives of people I love, and like so many families, I've seen first-hand the fear, uncertainty and resilience that accompany a diagnosis.
That's why I've created this fundraising page—to help raise vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. The money we raise will provide practical support and specialist care for people and families facing blood cancer today, while also funding the research that will lead to earlier diagnoses, better treatments and, ultimately, more lives saved.
On Sunday 27 September, we'll be walking along the beautiful shoreline at Kettering in southern Tasmania as part of our Walk the Shore fundraiser.
Wherever you live, I'd love you to join us in spirit. Walk along a beach, beside a river, around your local park or simply take a stroll through your neighbourhood.
