The kettle is on again, and Mum’s beautiful tradition continues.
In February 2025, we lost our beautiful mum to leukaemia after a long and incredibly courageous battle. Throughout her diagnosis and treatment, she faced every challenge with strength and grace, and the Leukaemia Foundation provided incredible support to her and to our family.
For many years, Mum hosted a fundraising morning tea to give back to the organisation that meant so much to her. Last year, we continued that tradition in her memory and, thanks to the incredible generosity of our family, friends and community, raised $3,656 for the Leukaemia Foundation. We are so grateful to everyone who donated, attended and helped make the day so special.
This year, we are once again coming together to honour Mum’s legacy and support the fight against blood cancer.
Every day, more Australian families receive the devastating news that someone they love has blood cancer. By raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, we can help ensure those families receive the care, information and support they need, while also funding vital research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
The money we raise will continue the work Mum cared so deeply about. It will help support people facing blood cancer today and bring us closer to a future where no family has to experience the heartbreak that ours has.
