I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
On my ride home from work after about the 6th missed call I stopped to talk to my brother. That's when he told me that he'd been diagnosed with Leukaemia. It's been an overwhelming life change for Andrew and his family. They've experienced high's and lows physically and emotionally since then.
That's why it seems appropriate that we would be doing this fund raiser by riding our bikes.
My brother Andrew, mate Shannon and I will be riding 1200km from Sydney to Brisbane from the 15th to the 22nd of September to raise funds for the Foundation. The 3 of us I'm sure will experience many highs and lows across our journey but supporting each other will get us through.
The support that Andrew and his family have received from the Foundation both physically and mentally has been incredible and this is us doing our bit to try and support the fantastic work that they do.
So please, jump on board and any support that you are able to provide the Foundation will be openly accepted.
