I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

My name is Rebecca and this year I have decided to participate in the 71st annual Goulburn Lilac City Festival by running for Lilac Queen.

The Lilac City Festival is held in my home town of Goulburn NSW every year over the October long weekend and the person who is crowned Lilac Queen is the entrant who raises the most amount of money. 30% of the proceeds go towards their chosen charity and the rest goes towards supporting the Lilac Festival committee.

Five years ago I lost my grandmother to Leukaemia, and so in her memory, the charity I will be fundraising for is the Leukaemia foundation.

As part of my fundraising efforts I will be holding a mega raffle, in which all prizes have been donated by local businesses. I will be selling tickets in person through my workplace, as well as online though Rafflelink.

The raffle will be drawn Friday September 23rd through my Facebook page Bec Priora For Lilac Queen 2022 and all winners will be officially contacted via phone the following day.
