My Birthday Wish, in Memory of Tony

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

My birthday is coming up next week, and this year, I’ve decided to do something a bit different.

Back in 1997, I lost my beautiful cousin Tony to leukaemia. He was just 26 years old, so unbelievably young. I think about him often and the older I get, the more I miss him and think about how cruel it was that he never got the chance to grow older, chase his dreams or experience all the things the rest of us so often take for granted.

So, for my birthday, I’m raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation.

Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news.

The Leukemia Foundation provides vital support to families facing blood cancer and invest in research to help ensure more people have the chance to live the lives Tony never got to.

The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.

Please show me your support by donating to my fundraising campaign.
