Coming up to mums birthday
It's coming closer to what would have been mums 70th birthday. I knew this was going to be hard, but I didn't think it would be this hard. As dad said today, leukaemia not only took mum from us but it has destroyed us too.I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news.
Instead of a birthday party on what would have been mum's 70th birthday, we are holding a fundraiser to celebrate the life of our beautiful mum, Christine.
We would love it, if instead of a birthday present if you are able, please donate to the Luekemia Foundation.
We will having a night at the club rooms of the South West Street Rodders, where we will gather to share laughter and a few drinks with good friends - something that mum loved to do. It will honour her life and the kidness she gave to everyone around her.
