Hi all, I've come up with another way to really challenge myself and this one is a doozie.
On September 11 2021 I will tackle a 100km Trail Run. Running along with sand from Anglesea to Torquay, Up into the hills and onto the trails back passed Anglesea and out onto the great ocean road before turning and heading back to Anglesea to notch up the 100km mark.
I am hoping to raise money and awareness for a charity very close to my heart being the Leukaemia Foundation. The money raised will provide vital funds to assist families who are just coming to learn they have a loved one diagnosed with blood cancer. It will also assist some of our brightest minds to continue to help develop a cure in the quickest possible time.
Currently each day in Australia 50 people learn to news that they have been diagnosed with blood cancer. I'm hoping the 100plus km I clock each week between now and the next 6 weeks and also completing the Surf Coast Century will inspire people to help me and help this wonderful cause.
