RACE DAY: 10km Completed!

What a scenic way to start a sunny Sunday morning with a run through the beautiful grounds of the Werribee Mansion. Fell shy of a PB today but happy with the effort and glad to be apart of this years event.

Special thanks to everyone who has donated over the last 6 weeks to my fundraising campaign, we have managed to raise a total of $719 to date, which will all go to the Leukaemia Foundation and help patients and their families cope with the diagnosis and treatment of Leukaemia.

Donations will stay open until June 30 if anyone still wishes to donate.

DAY 27 UPDATE: Race Pack & Race Bib have arrived!

With just 11 days until race day and the arrival of my race pack, it's starting to feel more real now!
Participating in the Altona Beach parkrun and Wyndham Vale parkrun events in recent weeks has been great motivation to get out and run. Thank you to all the volunteers who make this possible. ❤
Still plenty of time to donate in support of the Leukaemia Foundation - Page donations will stay open until the end of financial year (June 30th 2021).

DAY 15 UPDATE: $719 raised, 240% of my, what now seems modest, $300 goal!

Overwhelmed by all the donations that continue to flow in - Special thanks to Tay, Tahnee, Kath, Ross, Rebekah and Nathan for your donations over the last few days.
We have now raised enough to fund a whole weeks accommodation near treatment facilities for a regional-based family. 😊
Once again any donations over and above my goal will still be donated to Leukaemia Foundation so please continue to give generously! $2 and up = tax deductible! 😁❤️

DAY 10 UPDATE: Happy Easter Everyone! 🐰

My initial fundraising goal has been reached and then some! $453 raised, 152% of my goal!

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

On Sunday May 2, 2021 I will be taking part in the 10km Werribee Mansion Run to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. 

More than 3,000 Victorians are projected to be diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders this year.

Your donation will help to raise vital funds to provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease.
