Yuletide 25th June 2022

Well it is june and you may be wondering why santa is revving around Melbourne on a big old harley.

With so many folks in need I have decided to spend some time during the year out of season to help.

This is very much in the spirit of St Nicholas, my ancestor, who devoted his life helping others in need.

first, it is yuletide,

Yuletide is the celebration of the coming of the new sun, that the longest night has passed and the days will be getting longer and warmer, so on the last week of june join St Nicholas in welcoming  the new sun with a donation to the Leukaemia Foundation

and

second, i will be riding around during June and if you see me and would like to help Leukaemia foundation please make a donation

You may see me riding and always happy for you to take a picture/video  or I may be at your local shopping centre and happy for you to take a pic/vid with me and chat.

In return, all I would ask is you consider a donation to this very good cause

Remember to be safe with covid

On the 14th of April 2021 A dear colleague of Santa, Brian Carey lost his dear partner Jeffrey Slater to complication of AML. He was a paliative care nurse at Penninsula health golflinks rd Frankston  and he loved this special work.

He was diagnosed with AML Feb 5 and we lost him just 2 months later on the 14th of April,  so I wanted to remember him by doing what he took great pride in doing and that is to help others, so if you can help me, santa, raise some money for the Leukaemia foundation to fight this hideous disease you would be doing a very special thing, helping to save someones life.

Jeff and Brian loved to ride their bikes somewhere and have a simple picknick of a sandwich and a thermos of milo, yup a couple of leatheclad bikers, they also had a teddy bear as a hitch hiker every time they went out.

This illness can take anyone of any age

This is very much in the spirit of St Nicholas who devoted his life helping others in need

In Memory of Jeffrey Slater.

I am fundraising to help the 47 Australians who will know that they have blood cancer by the end of today — and for the 47 families who will face the same devastating news tomorrow.

I have created this page to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease.

The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.

Please show me your support by donating to my fundraising campaign.
