I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news.

I have created this page to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease.

The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.

Please show me your support by donating to my fundraising campaign.

Rolling Up Our Sleeves: Supporting the Leukaemia Foundation Through Blood Donation

At the heart of our team culture is a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference—not just in the workplace, but in the wider community. One of the most powerful ways we bring this commitment to life is by quite literally rolling up our sleeves and donating blood to support those affected by blood cancers, including leukaemia.

Our blood donation initiative is more than a one-off effort; it is an ongoing team tradition rooted in compassion, awareness, and action. Each donation represents a tangible way we can help individuals and families navigating some of life’s toughest challenges. Blood, plasma, and platelet donations are critical for people undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy, as these therapies often weaken the body’s ability to produce healthy blood cells. Regular transfusions can be lifesaving, and our contributions help ensure that supply continues to meet demand.

Why We Support the Leukaemia Foundation

The Leukaemia Foundation plays a vital role in Australia by providing care, funding research, and offering practical support for people living with blood cancer. Beyond the clinical need for blood donations, their work focuses on improving quality of life—whether that means offering accommodation near treatment centers, emotional support services, or funding breakthroughs in research that can lead to better treatments and, ultimately, cures.

By supporting blood donation efforts and raising awareness, our team is contributing to this broader mission. We recognise that behind every donation is a person—a patient, a family, a story—and that connection motivates us to keep showing up and giving what we can.

A Team Effort with Real Impact

What makes this initiative so special is the spirit in which it’s carried out. Colleagues come together, encourage one another, and celebrate each milestone—whether it’s a first-time donor overcoming nerves or a seasoned contributor reaching a significant number of donations. These shared experiences strengthen our sense of community while reinforcing the idea that even small individual actions can collectively drive meaningful change.

Rolling up our sleeves also serves as a powerful reminder of our ability to help others in a simple yet profound way. Blood donation doesn’t take long, but its impact can last a lifetime for those who receive it. For our team, participating in this effort reinforces values such as empathy, generosity, and social responsibility—values that extend far beyond the donation chair.

Looking Ahead

Our commitment to supporting the Leukaemia Foundation continues to grow. We aim to increase participation, host regular donation drives, and encourage ongoing awareness within our networks. By doing so, we hope to inspire others to get involved and contribute to a cause that truly saves lives.

In rolling up our sleeves together, we’re not just donating blood—we’re offering hope, strength, and a reminder that community care can make an extraordinary difference.
