I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
Today, more than 53 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 53 families will be devastated by the same news
This years also marks 50 years of The Leukaemia Foundation, an organisation which has supported me and countless Australians and their families living with blood cancer. To highlight the incredible work LF does, and mark my 10th year thriving with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia, I’m going for a walk! I’ll be tackling the 410km Via Francigena Camino from Lucca to Rome, over 3 weeks in September.
I have created this page to raise awareness and help fund more game-changing research into this disease which is the most common cancer amongst women under 30.
