I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Hi, 

At the start of this year, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Leukaemia (CML). To most people, this sounds life-threatening but I was actually fortunate to be diagnosed with the least deadly blood cancer there is.

These past 6 months have been filled with all kinds of emotions in dealing with the illness both mentally & physically. Today I take a stand & will attempt to make a difference against Leukaemia with the support of my family, friends & blood cancer community by creating a Run-raiser, where funds raised will go towards providing the special care that is needed to get families who are less fortunate than myself, who are struggling and cannot pay for the endless doctor's fees that a more severe/terminal leukaemia diagnosis can give.

The money I raise will not only help provide care for those in need right now — it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.

Please show me your support by donating to my fundraising campaign.

If you choose not to donate, then please do yourself a favour and go get a blood test and get the OK as this diagnosis can happen to anyone, no matter how healthy you are.
