We’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
Late last term, our friend and classmate, Jarvis, was diagnosed with leukaemia. Since then, he has been living at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, where he is undergoing an intense 9-12 month chemotherapy treatment. It’s been a challenging time for Jarvis and his family, but they’ve received incredible support from the Leukaemia Foundation.
The Foundation has provided Jarvis’s family with a fully furnished apartment near the hospital, making it easier for them to stay together during this difficult journey. They’ve also offered guidance and emotional support, helping the family navigate these tough times.
To show our gratitude and to help more families facing similar battles, we are organizing a fundraiser through the Leukaemia Foundation. Every dollar raised will go towards supporting vital services, including accommodation for families, medical support, and ongoing research to find a cure for leukaemia.
