Yellow Day 2024

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

Rhys was a bright and cheerful 5-year-old boy who brought joy to everyone at Hillbrook Early Learning Centre before his passing in 1994 from leukaemia. With his favourite colour being yellow, he filled the world around him with warmth and sunshine, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. In his memory, Hillbrook holds a Yellow Day every October, celebrating his spirit and to raise funds to support others battling cancer. Rhys’s legacy of love and hope continues to shine brightly, reminding everyone of the importance of community and compassion
