Raising funds to fight Leukaemia

I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia 3years ago. I managed to get into remission with 3 heavy doses of chemo which would involve me being in an isolated room at RPH for up to 12 weeks at a time. The chemo led me to also having a full bowel removal due to my underlying Crohn's Disease. So I've now had a permanent Ileostomy (yep.. a poop bag) since Feb 2020. 
Its been a battle but I've managed to keep my head high as possible & am now living a pain free & hopefully cancer free life. 
My brother is my 100% match. I had his stem cells for the transplant on my daughters birthday 16th Feb 2021. Im having my first Bone Marrow Biopsy at the end of May & this will show if it was successful. Ive got a really good feeling it has been.

The doctors & nurses that have taken care of me have been wonderful & i couldn't thank them enough.

Im so grateful to be given another chance of life.

I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

I am fundraising to help the 47 Australians who will know that they have blood cancer by the end of today — and for the 47 families who will face the same devastating news tomorrow. 

I have created this page to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease. 

The money I raise will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
