Rob and I are taking on our first marathon in 2026 – and we’re doing it for a cause that matters.
We’re both regular runners, but we’ve never gone beyond a half marathon… so this will definitely push us well out of our comfort zone. To make the challenge worthwhile (and help get us through the tough kilometres!), we’re raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Today, more than 53 Australians will be told they have blood cancer — and tomorrow, another 53 families will receive the same devastating news.
We’ve created this page to help raise vital funds that provide the specialised care needed to support families through a blood cancer diagnosis, as well as to fund game‑changing research into this disease.
The money raised will help provide immediate support to those who need it most right now — and it will also back leading researchers working towards faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
Training for this marathon will be a real test for both of us, and any support you can offer — whether it’s a donation or words of encouragement — would mean a lot.
