I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.
My lovely friend Julie was diagnosed with Leukaemia 1 year ago while training for her first Ironman. Although this diagnosis was a huge shock she met it with a strength and determination that was awe inspiring. We decided that I would complete a 70.3 ironman to raise money for leukaemia research. Julie kept training throughput her illness and the hope was I would share the course with her while she smashed her Ironman. Unfortunately' despite fighting so hard, Julie lost her battle last month. I will now attempt to complete the 70.3 Ironman Busselton in her memory while raising as much money as I can.
