Bookmarks will be back on the 20th October, 8.10am

As a follow up to the hugely successful 1st bookmark stall on the 13th, and in the hope of increasing the $366 raised - back by popular demand we are pleased to announce that Nicole's stall will be back next Thursday (20th Oct) - same time, same place, to offer Nicole's remaining stock of bookmarks for sale. There are still lots of beautiful designs left, so for those of you that missed out on a bookmark yesterday please bring your $2 next Thursday morning before school to snap up a beautiful bookmark, and support an amazing cause in the process.

This online fundraising page is still up and running for another week as well, and is another way to support the excellent work the Leukaemia Foundation do everyday.

The first bookmark stall was a huge success - $366!

Thank you to everyone who came and visited us at Nicole's bookmark fundraising stall for the Leukaemia Foundation on the 13th Oct.

Your overwhelming show of support through purchases of bookmarks, donations and kind comments were so truly appreciated by Nicole and our family. Please know your support was heartfelt!

The stall was an enormous success with $366 dollars raised which is enough to:
1. Help support the research of a PhD scholarship recipient for another day. Thanks to you, this brilliant scientist could discover the next great breakthrough towards a cure, and
2. Cover over 2 nights of city accommodation, for a regional family needing to relocate for life-saving treatment

Every cent of the funds raised will go to the Leukaemia Foundation to make a real difference to those people who are living blood cancer in Australia and their families.

About Nicole's bookmark fundraiser

On Thursday 13th October (this Thursday) Nicole Moss will be running a bookmark stall before school in the kiss and go area from 8.10am. Home made fabric bookmarks will be on sale for $2 each. All money raised will be donated to the Leukaemia Foundation to support families who have been touched by Leukaemia and other types of blood cancers.

The Leukaemia Foundation is a charity close to Nicole's heart as it has helped her family through a diagnosis and treatment of blood cancer, and Nicole is keen to give back to them for all their wonderful work. 

They continue to provide invaluable assistance to sufferers of all types of blood cancer and their families (not just Leukaemia) via information and education about their diagnosis and treatments, accommodation for those that need to travel and remain close to their family member receiving treatment in hospital, and emotional support groups providing empathy and compassion to families having to navigate the same life-changing rollercoaster as Nicole's family had to do.

All bookmarks have been home made by Nicole Moss, with a little help from her mum and grandma - they are fabric with various patterns and designs. All proceeds will be donated to the Leukaemia Foundation.

If you can't make it to the stall, or you'd prefer to donate online, this page has been set up to enable online donations to Nicole's fundraiser. Any donations over $2 are tax deductible, and if made online, receive a receipt.

Your support of this very worthy charity would be much appreciated.

Nicole has taken a stand against blood cancer.

Today, more than 50 Australians will be told that they have blood cancer and tomorrow - another 50 families will be devastated by the same news. We as a family went through this personally a few years ago.

At Nicole's request, we have created this page to raise vital funds to help provide the special care that is needed to get families through a blood cancer diagnosis as well as to help fund more game-changing research into this disease. 

The money Nicole raises will help provide care for those in need right now — and it will back the brightest researchers to continue uncovering faster diagnoses and better treatments to save lives.
