I’ve taken a stand against blood cancer.

In 2019 my grandmother, Francine O’Connell, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, and we sadly lost her later that year. She was the heart of our family, and watching her fight something so aggressive and unforgiving is something I'll never forget. The Leukaemia Foundation supported my family through one of the hardest and most heartbreaking times of our lives, and their help is something I am beyond forever grateful for.

I’m doing a 5km swim in her loving memory, and every dollar I raise will go directly to the Leukaemia Foundation so they can continue supporting families like mine and funding the research that gives people hope. This is my way of honouring her and giving back to the people who stood by us when we needed it most.
